Touchscreen Controller
The Touchscreen Controller offers an easy-to-use intuitive interface. Just as our phones, computers, and everything else has moved to touchscreen control, so have the Changeable Message Signs. The controller also offers the flexibility to update and upgrade the software at any time using a USB flash drive.
Traffic Data Collection & Radar
Data Collection devices are available as an option to our Changeable Message Signs. These devices can detect speed as well as count and classify vehicles. This information will display on the message sign (e.g., “Your Speed is XX mph”) or trigger messages (e.g., Slow Down, Sharpe Curve Ahead), or stored for historical reference.
Camera
Pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ) cameras mount to changeable message signs to provide a live recorded or on-demand video interface. These cameras monitor work zones, traffic patterns, or construction sites.
IP Cellular Modem & GPS
IP modems aid in remote communication to the changeable message sign. For example, the remote interface allows users to monitor, program, and run diagnostics from anywhere that they get an Internet connection. Most importantly, remote communication saves travel time and is a cost-effective alternative to on-site programming.
Asset Management Software
Asset Management Software is designed to incorporate the features of IP modems, battery monitoring, and GPS tracking. This software package allows users an interface to program, troubleshoot, track and manage their Changeable Message Signs.
