Intersection Rehabilitation
Street Smart deployed four temporary truss signals at the busiest intersection in Watertown, South Dakota, as part of an upgrade to existing permanent traffic signals.
Bridge Construction
Street Smart’s Portable Traffic Signals helped 2,000-5,000 vehicles per day traverse a single-lane closure on a bridge project near Rochester, Minnesota. Haul Truck Operations
Throughout this levee improvement project, dump trucks have to haul sand from offsite to the project. To get to the levee, the trucks need to cross a busy roadway that sees hundreds of cars per day. The contractor rented Street Smart portable traffic signal system to control traffic and avoid the use of span wire signals or human flaggers.
Temporary PEDX
In Billings, Montana, an intersection handling 15,000–20,000 vehicles per day — plus pedestrians and bicyclists — remained safe and efficient throughout a seven-month reconstruction project using Street Smart’s portable traffic signal trailers and a temporary HAWK (High-intensity Activated Crosswalk) system.
