In which regions do you rent Security Camera Trailers?

We have several Regional Operations Centers throughout the US and support rentals in all 50 states.

Who delivers and sets up the camera trailers?

Street Smart can drop off the trailers for client self-install, or provide low-cost turnkey setup.

What rental periods do you offer?

We rent Security Camera Trailers for 1, 3, 6, and 12-month periods, with multi-year rates available as well.

How do I view the video feed?

Each rental includes a subscription to our cloud-based VMS (Video Management System), allowing you to access video and event triggers from your PC or smartphone.

Who monitors the camera and responds if there is a security event?

There are two monitoring options:

Remote Guarding: in this scenario, Street Smart will use motion-based software analytics to detect motion and generate an event escalation to a central station for video verification and emergency response.
Self-Monitoring: in this scenario, Street Smart helps customers configure the cameras to send email or SMS alerts to the client for their review and action.

Where is the video footage stored?

28 days of footage are stored on an SD card onboard the camera. Cloud backup is available for a nominal cost.

Does Street Smart monitor the power level and network connection to make sure the Security Camera Trailers are working?

Yes, our Control Center and National Tech Support Team monitor the health of each unit and proactively communicate with clients whenever an issue arises.

What kind of cameras and other electronics do you offer for surveillance and deterrence?

We’ve created a toolkit of tested and qualified cameras (PTZ or Pan-Tilt-Zoom, bullet, and panoramic) as well as solutions for customized strobe lights and audio deterrence (sirens and live talk-down speakers).

How will we be sure the cameras are placed in the right location?

Street Smart starts with the address and site description from the client and then uses specialized security site design software to generate a map showing each camera type, placement, and field of view, keeping in mind solar power availability. During camera deployment, our National Support Team confirms the location and view with the client. The result is a thorough, shared understanding between Street Smart and each client.
