Advisory Trailers use flashing lights (or beacons) and a static sign to alert motorists to potential dangers and tune their radio to a specific frequency for important announcements. Used in conjunction with Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) stations, the advisory trailer keeps motorists informed on special roadway conditions or emergencies.
