AUTOMATED FLAGGER

• IntelliStrobe Automated Flagger Assistance Devices (AFADs) are highly visible, standalone units controlled electronically from a transmitter carried by an operator located safely out of harm’s way.
  
• The IntelliStrobe systems conform to the Interim Approval guidelines for AFADs and have met the federal NCHRP 350 crashworthy performance criteria.
  
• A flagger for each AFAD is now specified for poor line-of-site jobs, or for distances over 800’.

AFAD: Lane Intrusion Safety System

• The AFAD Lane Intrusion Alarm is activated when traffic crosses the hose and enters workzone.
• The Modified Gate Arm allows visual confirmation for the controller. Signal heads must be covered when the system is being used for lane intrusion only.

Trailer Mounted Units

• The IntelliStrobe AFAD “Trailer System” utilizes the same technology as our W1-AG and the WS1-A.
• The system is permanently mounted on a two-wheel trailer for ease and transportability and quick application.
• It is activated by a heavy-duty motor that has its battery power replenished during the work day with solar panels that are adjustable for optimum sunlight exposure.
• Also available with the stop/slow paddle verses the signal head.
