Where does Street Smart rent equipment?
Street Smart rents equipment throughout North America, including Alaska, Hawaii and Canada.

How does Street Smart move its equipment?
Depending on the quantity and origin of the equipment Street Smart uses multiple resources to move its equipment. By getting several freight quotes, we are able to keep freight costs low.

Do I need to insure the rented equipment?
Yes, our insurance covers the equipment – only when it is in our possession. Before renting any equipment, you will need to provide Street Smart with proof of insurance coverage.

Does Street Smart set-up the equipment on the jobsite?
No, Street Smart is not insured or certified to set-up equipment. Street Smart will deliver equipment to jobsites and assist in the equipment programming.

What are the rental terms/ commitments for the equipment?
Before equipment is rented, Street Smart will need proof of insurance and signed contract. The contract will state the rental terms, including the monthly rate, the monthly minimum, and freight charges.

What can I expect for delivery times?
Depending on product and location, between 1 and 7 days.

How does Street Smart quote their rates?
Street Smart rents equipment by the month, season, or project.

What kind of maintenance is expected for the equipment?
Most of our equipment is very low maintenance. Every 2 weeks the battery water level and charge needs to be checked. For questions or help with this, please call Street Smart.

What do I do when I am done with the equipment?
Fax Street Smart the completion date and we will make arrangements based on your needs.

What do I do if my equipment has been damaged?
Notify Street Smart and your insurance company. Street Smart will help you repair the board and/ or order repair parts.

What do I do if my equipment does not work?
Call Street Smarts 24 hour number so that we may assist you in troubleshooting the problem.
